International Robotic Competition(IRC)

2nd Runner Up of International Robotics Competition organized by Techfest IIT Mumbai, India.
At IIT Techfest, robotics competitions are held each year and this time it was our turn to face the challenge. Me and my team representing Thapathali Campus built an autonomous robot that can navigate through a maze without human intervention. The main theme was maze competition and the goal was to have the robot complete the maze as quickly and accurately as possible by taking the shortest route. At IIT Techfest, our team competed against international teams from different countries and secured 2nd Runner-up

Robotics association of Nepal(RAN) - Yantra 6.0

Winner of Yantra 6.0 Automatic Aakhada organized by Robotics association of Nepal (RAN).
Robot sumo is a popular robotics competition where two robots try to push each other out of a ring or arena. RAN organized a national level robot sumo competition in Nepal. One of the key challenges was to use camera as a vision sensor which allows the robot to "see" the opponent. With the changes in lighting conditions and shadows, we needed to calibrate our cameras and develop algorithms that can handle these changes. The use of cameras as vision sensors in robot sumo fights has opened up new possibilities to learn and enhance the performance of our robots. We were able to outmaneuver our opponents and win the competition.
